Travis attended Kent State University on a wrestling scholarship, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Integrated Health Sciences. He went on to complete his master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Akron. His academic background and athletic discipline led him into a clinical career, where he spent two years working in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, helping patients improve their health and quality of life through structured recovery programs.
In December 2013, Travis transitioned into the life insurance industry, bringing with him a strong foundation in health, risk management, and long-term planning. What he values most about his work is helping individuals and families prepare for the unexpected is ensuring they are financially protected and able to focus on what matters most during life’s most challenging moments. He takes pride in educating clients, simplifying complex decisions, and building plans that provide lasting peace of mind.
Outside of his professional career, Travis remains deeply connected to the sport that shaped him. He volunteers as a wrestling coach at his alma mater, Perry High School, mentoring young athletes and giving back to the community that helped shape his work ethic and values. In his free time, Travis enjoys staying active through fitness training, as well as spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
